How does the Turn A Gundam Correct Century work? Spoilers for the show but it's plot centers around the mystery of the Dark History. An era before the current time which in the show's setting is a Victorian era level of tech society with planes & blimps. This Dark History is hinted at & outright said to be essentially the history of at least 4 previous Gundam timelines. From my understanding, each timeline is supposed to be a different universe. So how does this work? Because I can't find a straight answer no matter where I look. Is it: >A: Each Gundam timeline referenced here were actually part of the same universe all along. >B: Each timeline was separate but something converged them into one.

I don't think you're meant to figure out what in-universe method the timelines come together. I think of it more in the meta narrative sense that Tomino has Turn A take place after all other Gundam series, even ones he wasn't involved in, so that he'd always have the last word on the franchise.

I was hesitant to pick it up because I'm not the biggest capeshit fan, but it's actually good. Best soundtrack I've heard in a long while, too, both the OP and insert song by Sawano and the ending theme. The story structure in unconventional and really ambitious from what I've heard - mini-arcs following different characters but connecting and flowing into the bigger plot. I wonder if they manage to pull it off

Child of War - The Legend of Oda Nobunaga This series was done by Tetsuo Hara (Fist of the North Star) and serialized in Comic Zenon from 2010 through 2022. There are 103 chapters total, collected across 20 volumes. I've been trying to work on my own little translation of it, but I don't think I'll get very far. At the very least I'd like to share more than what's currently been scanlated up to now. The scanlation team at Hokuto no Gun got up to chapter 11, but that was back in 2012. I'm not good at redrawing, so I'm going to leave certain text in the original Japanese, but I'll leave comments as to what's being said in certain panels.

I read some of it like a couple years ago. I got to around the point where she gets training from that other character who's the same race as her. I stopped mostly because reading a manga on Twitter is kind of annoying. The schizo-ness of the plot and setting is kind of interesting, but it could use some more direction in letting the audience get an idea of where the story is going. Kemo Fujin a cute tho
