ALL dess-related content is found in the schizo route, weird route, etc. there are 8 fallen humans, 8 soul hearts, 8 chapters. the missing heart is the dark heart. the dark heart is HEAVILY associated with ralsei and the prophecy of the delta rune. the dark heart is in undertale. the dark heart is (unsurprisingly) lost in the dark, it can't be seen or found but is always with you. the song "don't forget" talks about the dark heart, more specifically who the dark heart came from. it's a song about memories. ch. 1 - W.ogg - red heart ch. 2 - D.ogg - yellow heart ch. 3 - G.ogg - green heart ch. 4 - A.ogg - purple heart ch. 5 - S.ogg - blue heart ch. 6 - T.ogg - orange heart ch. 7 - E.ogg - cyan heart ch. 8 - R.ogg - dark heart his theme is gaster's theme, not asriel's theme. this will make perfect sense after completing deltarune.

I hate that this game has such a hold on me. I'm looking forward to the next chapters but there's dread in my heart knowing that we aren't even close to the end yet. The main villain is a computer virus that infected the game and turned it into a trojan. A lot of the game is modified/glitched out due to the virus' actions. The alt route half of the game will be turbo meta and people will hate it.

I've been wondering for a while why both Toby (in the anniversary stream) and Spamton called sealing the fountain "stealing" it, I especially didn't know how to reconcile this word choice with my personal beliefs on the direction of the game. I finally figured it out today after ruminating on a singular scene very few see (and I only saw in the text project a few days ago), and only because of a prior connection that sounded pretty ridiculous at first. Hopefully it'll make sense as part of a bigger whole.
