Russia is winning on the battlefield but the strategic direction currently is Russia losing in the not-distant future. The war is over securing Russia’s longterm access to the European energy market and the longer the Ukraine-US teamup keeps Russia cut off the closer Russia comes to Putin’s government running out of money and being forced step down. I believe Putin hasn’t been personally pushing the military and MIC forward for a year now which may indicate that he’s given up and is now focusing on the exit of his circle into retirement. Without the energy oligarch money control Putin’s government will not be able to maintain control of the country. Pay close attention to indications something is moving in Russia and you’ll know the war is nearing its end. Ukraine will eventually replace Russia as the main supplier for Europe and Zelensky is going to be heavily connected to that future market and become a stupendously rich as a result. Depending on how the war ends he may get another term but the odds would be against him (probably).
