Like it took till Elden Ring for the series to hit the critical mass of popularity needed to get people actually commissioning vore artwork instead of it being a few one off pieces. I would guess it has to do with a combination of the grimy and dark atmosphere, earlier games relative smallness in terms of mainstream popularity that only kicked in with DS2 and truly breached the mainstream with DS3 with ER being the point of ascendance, and it just not appealing to the average vore artist in that way for reasons I don't understand.
