Time for a good ol' Stardew Valley thread. Post lolis you want to plant your seed in, arguments for the objective superiority of the Joja route, utterly abhorrent Nexus mods (and maybe the few good ones), grievances about imageboards being literally the only non-pozzed way to discuss this game, farms and everything inbetween.
>>1167324 i'm so happy to see you bro. i just started a new farm on the wilderness map and it is a fucking bitch.
>>1167324 Is there any good modpacks that make the game less tedious? I just want to have fun and chill I don't want to feel like I have to micromanage my entire day just to get anything done and I don't want to water every individual plant either. In Harvestella I could hold down a button and it the water would continuously spray, in Statdew it feels like I'm going to get arthritis from the hundreds of clicks I do in a short amount of time
>>1167576 First and foremost, modpacks are NOT a thing for SDV. Nexus collections exist and are similar, but they force you to use Vortex which is widely known for literally deleting mod files so do not use that. Second and most important: UPGRADE YOUR FUCKING WATERING CAN.
>>1167576 honestly, you set your own pace with the game. you only micromanage if you want to. you don't HAVE to make grandpa happy by year 3 etc. but as you play things get easier and easier to do, much less clicking. sprinklers, auto harvesters, auto petters, all that stuff is in the base game but just behind spending some time getting it.
>>1167612 >>1167612 >modpacks are NOT a thing for SDV. Nexus collections exist and are similar, but they force you to use Vortex which is widely known for literally deleting mod files so do not use that. Whatever. >Second and most important: UPGRADE YOUR FUCKING WATERING CAN. Which is a grind to do and only upgrades it incrementally. By the time you have it upgraded, your farm will be large in proportion to your upgraded watering can and you'll still have to click just as many times that is if you actually want to make efficient use of the watering can and the farm land. Which still doesn't address the crux of the issue for me and that's still clicking 9 million times in 2 hours and having your hand cramp up because of it. I Harvestella you can hold down the mouse button and it will continuesly spray out water in proportion to the spaces the watering can upgrade covers, meaning all I need to fucking do is hover over areas and the plants will get fucking watered. Enjoy getting arthritis though kek >but as you play things get easier and easier to do, much less clicking. sprinklers, auto harvesters, auto petters Which is not worth the grind getting up to that point which is a pacing issue for me. You either need to meticulously plan out your days to get to that point in a somewhat short amount of time, or you have a chill gameplay experience where progression comes way to slowly to actually keep my interest.
>>1168289 >By the time you have it upgraded, your farm will be large in proportion to your upgraded watering can Ignore farming and rush the mines until you have enough silver or gold bars then. That's pretty much what I do: Plant 15 parsnips > fish exclusively until egg festival > plant 110-120 strawberries > do not plant anything again until summer. You claim you do not want a chill gameplay experience, yet you're thoroughly intimidated by grueling playstyles that actually require a modicum of skill and knowledge to meet quotas. And worse: You're getting filtered by a game that millions of women can play just fine. Get a grip.
>>1167324 I missed you faggots! Is Mud here, or is it just the cteam cunny enjoyers?
>>1168289 > in a somewhat short amount of time that's on you bro, enjoy doing whatever you want and take your sweet time. if you really don't like the watering can pick the meadowland farm and do animals instead, not as much clicking at all. I enjoy the challenge of trying to year one the community center but it isn't a big deal. My 9 year old daughter went into year 7 before bothering to really try and finish the community center. and she only did that because she saw me on the island and wanted to go. I helped her with the fishing and that's it, she was able to do everything else.
Far as modded NPCs go, who are your guys' favorites? The rich kid's mom in SVE is up there.
>>1167324 cute Ashley!
