I just started playing. I just met Asterion and I already hate this guy's guts. First opportunity I had to slug him I did. I really hope this guy gets better or he's staying at camp for the rest of the game.

I love the Toll the Dead cantrip, finally shart can actually hit something using a cantrip and deal at least some damage. I just hate the flavor with the whole bell and "this spell reminds you that you're going to die! Take necrotic damage!", just kind of dumb.

I'm playing a death cleric. I like it thematically but I'm not sure how I want to build it. The double casting cantrips gimmick is neat but then the rest of the features are about adding necro damage to your melee. Do I just go to 6 to bypass necro resistance and then multiclass with a melee class for an extra attack? >>1170206 I kinda wish I had just made shart the death cleric and played something as as my main. Cleric doesn't feel right as an mc class for me.

For roleplay, should I go for the new sorcerer or a death cleric? Which has the most/best unique dialog?

What's the most fun class to play without having to rely on shit like spellslots and similar finite charges that require constant resting? I've played open hand monk and only used the ki points on bosses, otherwise having 4 attacks per turn with two bonus actions from thief was pretty nice.
