Just finished raging loop. Loved it for the most part, but it got pretty dicey and stupid towards the end where it feels like they tried to have their cake and eat it too with both the supernatural and the "actually it's just science". Though that's fine, I mostly just hated the over explanation of everything. I really enjoyed Haruaki's characterization the most out of everything else. He's genuinely written as a "genius who carries himself like an idiot" in a very well way while not becoming frustrating to the reader while also having a genuinely frightening, borderline psychopathic side to him at times. He's simply a fun and entertaining protagonist. (Also Rikako best girl) I love mystery games like this and Danganronpa (particularly 2) where the MC debates murders or just stuff in general and especially when they're able to take control of the entire debate as well as play mind games and shit.

Seems like them attempting to do anything of the sort of trying to try to break out into the English scene with their games being translated by themselves would be a hell of a cliff to climb. I've been complaining a lot, but this is definitely way better than Makoto's route. Gags are way better, there's actual romance instead of leaving it as an afterthought in the last 10% of the route, the writer remembered there's other characters besides the heroine so they get to interact with other members of the art club, Kana is a fun antagonist - it's pretty good. If this were a moege I'd say it's a decent moege, the kind where I'd probably finish the routes of the girls I like but not bother with the rest.

1/3 routes finished for Otome Domain. I just did the common route and Hinata's route today, I think it was fairly entertaining for what it was worth. The romance wasn't super sweet as I usually like it, but it's decent. I think Hinata's a huge wuss at the most critical moments, but he at least manages to salvage his situations when necessary. I'm gonna go back to scanlating so I'll blogpost at a later date for the next route! I'm thinking of tackling Yuzu's next!
