Yes

Thats the moments I have chosen to save, most of the game isn't like that. It's Almost Fun™ which means the game has somewhat complex systems but very shallow progression and meh gamemodes. And it's been like that for years. The main source of complexity is sheer amount of stuff you have to know but nobody gonna teach you (and it changes with each major update so your knowledge gets obsolete with each new meta season) and the sheer amount of grind. You can skip the grind if you are good OR if you pay up. Most people on high tiers are just paying up, so it leads to full lobbies of kids and wallet warriors who have no idea how to play or how to be useful or at least not detrimental to teammates while using comples and very meticulously simulated systems as avionics, anti-air missiles and radars, supermaneuverability and relaxed stability, supersonic aerodynamics etc. The devs are also not the smartest or kindest people, which makes the game to do cruel things to its players on a regular basis.
> is there infantry or is it just jets & tanks?
Jets, tanks, helicopters, ships.
There was AI infantry on maps as april fools joke, as well as joke trailer for player-controlled infantry.
Airplanes are most fun for me, as I am into aircrafts and dogfighting. Also aircrafts have least grind (if you know what you are doing ofc) Tanks are probably most populated gamemode because it leeches off WoT playerbase while trying to do something Wargaming wont ever do, in return being by far the grindiest gamemode, with bottom of the barrel playerbase which gets milked dry. Ships are dead and boring gamemode, populated by bots and rmt chinese players who are just farming ingame currency because balancing through economy is a very good and smart idea.
Overall it is ok game if you don't have any better things to do while listening to podcasts. Yeah it can be fun sometimes, yeah it looks beautiful sometimes. But all gamemodes are flawed and stale, after you done the grind there is nothing to do really. So most of the playerbase plays intermittently, leaving the game for years, then returning, getting to newly added most modern top tier vehicles and then deleting game again. The game isn't really fair and if you know that you can club newbies like there's no tomorrow, and it will never be fixed, as the method of balancing devs chose does not really works, and will never work.
