NEW VOCALOID CONTROVERSY JUST DROPPED!
Well, not really. It's just Twitter collectively getting angry over shit again but it's pretty wide-spreading.
It relates to vid related, Zako by Hiiragi Magnetite. To give a VERY brief description, it's a music video by a rather popular animator on Youtube and Twitter. It features a Vocaloid girl singing it, Kai Yuuki, who uses a 'voicebank' (i.e. what the Vocaloid AI's voice was trained off of) of a 4th grader or something of that nature. That on it's own is enough to upset some Twitter faggots, but the bigger complaint is that the subject matter of the song is basically a mesugaki (bratty schoolgirl) is commenting on how a guy (presumably her boyfriend) has a small penis (zako, Japanese word for minnow, a small fish). Among other things.
This has resulted in a huge meltdown which caused the original uploader of the video to take it down off of Twitter AND Youtube.
The Japanese crowd, of course, doesn't give a shit. But the Western reaction was enough to make tidal waves in Japan.
