So you should be able to cut almost 3 ms from the overall latency if you optimize for it. That is not possible for something like bsb btw, as they don't have enough even for proper 90hz.

I think what's worse about Meta's business practices is that they quite literally lock people out of playing the games unless you have their hardware. You can play HL Alyx on a quest and yet Zuckerberg doesn't even have the decency for vice versa? i want to burn Meta to the ground.

Since VR is still just post infancy stage or still technically still infancy depending on how you look at it. It's not good to platform hoard because it gives the impression that no games are on it. It's bad for the overall health of the platform as it stands right now. The time where competition like this should come in is when every triple A company is developing high budget games for it. If we're not past that stage then it's absolutely the wrong time to do it.
