I've been insulting/making fun of this route quite a bit over the past few days. Now that I've gotten to the twist, I take it back. I kneel, Sca-ji. All the other JOPs were right and I was wrong. This is great. You can really tell this is the guy who wrote subahibi, he just hid it to make you let your guard down.

Also, the intermission and ending art from the duology is absolute kino. I wonder if anyone knows what the particular aesthetic with the skin and features completely blackened out is actually called. I've seen it done before in Shoujo Kakumei Utena, IIRC. >>1169702 I also disliked Makoto's. I think everyone did. It's a massive filter. It took me around 3 - 4 months to clear Olympia+Picapica, because I'd read for like 5 minutes, get bored, jump on Dragon Quest for the rest of the day.
