I tried playing the game but I just couldn't, it didn't do it for me. I defeated that planet boss, went to some scrap yard and stopped playing. I'm interested in the story but the gameplay and characters are plain boring. Is it some zoomer's first game about depression or is there more to it besides the art style?

Is this actually good? Coming off TCOAAL, and looking for something else with good writing. Everything I've seen on youtube seems to paint this as a le heckin wholesome depression quest. Don't have interest if that's the case.

Ultimately, you’ll just have to play it yourself and see if you like it. It doesn’t have any incest like Andy and Leyley or LISA though.

OMORI, at least on the outside, gives me a rounded, edges sanded off, sanitized feeling. I understand this can be intentional misdirection, but I'm not spending 16 Eurobucks on a guess.

It's hecking wholesome tumblr depression game for 99 percent of its run, but there's a twist at the end that retroactively ruins the wholesomeness. Worst of both worlds, and the game is long as fuck too so you have to work for that shitty ending. If you still want to play it at least pirate it. Trust me, it's not worth its price.
