>>46508 Yeah, hopefully it gets a good enough contract to finish it's story.
Animation quality is really fucking good outside of a few scenes, kinda wish this was a 90 minute film instead of a series though
I thought that this was a pretty well animated show that picked up my interest around the halfway mark when they infiltrated Heaven. Cool watch but I'm not sure if a full series could keep my interest. Could have been better paced in the beginning. I would say I enjoyed it more than Murder Drone's pilot (not hard I know) but the TADC pilot beats it out.

This melodramatic "exist" bullshit is coded language for threatening suicide, as always. Too many get deplatformed for endorsing emotional blackmail so they cooked up this hysterical-sounding dishonesty.

The French cartoon show Les Sisters renewed to Season 3 last November 2024. People are less interesting in the show so, we'll do that anyway. New episodes aired weekly on Sunday mornings in France.

Can't peak for Absolute because DC has been really fucking bad for the last like 4 or 5 years but Ultimate is fucking awful.

The 2010s Anonymous 01/25/2022 (Tue) 17:48:06 No. 22523 [Reply]
The 2010s were the second worst decade in animation history The 1970s are objectively the worst The early 80s at least gave us classics like OG He-Man, Transformers, Heathcliff, The Smurfs, GI Joe and OG She-Ra The 2010s however gave us a lot of shit shows and those shit shows are worse than any shit shows in any other decade The early 2010s especially were miserable Aside from some gems like Adventure Time, Regular Show, Gumball, Gravity Falls and Steven Universe was shit shit after shit show >MAD >Planet Sheen >Hero 108 >Johnny Test >Total Drama

>>46099 I would say the 2010's and 2020's are /the worst/. There is no variety now, the consolidation of studios has directly lead to a neverending strezm of reboots and sequels, original features and series fail regularly due to partisan "talents" working on them or the general audience's lack of interest in new ideas, traditional animation and stop motion are all but dead, and in the background of it all a communist confederation of the mentally ill are intentionally torching down pop culture. I'll take the Snorks, the Super Seven, and The Penguin and the pebble over the shit peddled to us now anyday of the week. People beating a dead horse by pointing the finger to the 70's and 80's are overlooking the brightspots of the era. The Bakshi movies, the slow exposure of anime to the west, the rise of Japanese/Western co-productions, even those much derided and detested toy cartoons spumco-fags rage about so much opened the floodgates to better writing in the 90's. For every smurfs clone and scooby copycat you'd get some significant writer or animator's foot in the door (like Paul Dini or Milton Knight), and fwiw the goofy cheap cartoons of the 70's and 80's still have some funny and endearing moments. I'll never understand why people who shit on old HB, Filmation, or Ruby Spears styled shows have this retarded expectation that all televised animation should have stood toe to toe with the golden age theatrical shorts that preceded them when these two varieties of cartoons existed to serve different purposes and entertain different audiences. The theatrical shorts of yore are considered classics for a reason but buy and large were not intended for child viewing.

>>46532 >2/10, it's a show made to cater to women and fags, the art style and voice acting is decent but everything else makes it unsalvagable. The writers probably have the subtlety of a sledgehammer, but I can't say that for certain yet. So it IS the next Helluva/Hazbin

Watched this movie for the first time today. It was pretty good. Fritz is retarded and it's fun watching him screw everything up. Some of the transition sequences were really long for some reason. The Neo-Nazi terrorist gang at the end came out of nowhere and I'm not sure why Fritz helped them bomb a power station, but I thought the lizard-girl Nazi was hot.

Knights of Guinevere Anonymous 01/18/2025 (Sat) 20:52:25 No. 43209 [Reply]
From GLITCH productions that brought you Amazing Digital Circus and Murder Drones comes a 2D animated series. Created by Dana Terrace (Owl House) , John Bailey Owen and Zach Marcus. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZgwHNno1WvM
13 posts and 4 images omitted.
>>43209 The heroine is cute, but the premise would only be good if this was the first thing GLITCH made. Plus, something about her design makes her look older than she likely is. The company is pigeonholing itself into the trend of cute things being creepy. It's part of their branding, but they need to use the money from TADC to expand operations by choosing a growth strategy, either make more seasons for existing series like Sunset Paradise or Murder Drones while introducing new series or making new series that are within their target demographic and general tone but aren't so similar as to be hard to differentiate. While they weren't graphically impressive, Meta Runner had episode per week every season. Seasons one and two had a 12 month break between them, and seasons two and three had an extra six months separating them because of the Murder Drones pilot. 2021 had one season of Sunset Paradise to cover the peak months of summer. It wasn't graphically impressive either, but it followed the same schedule as a season of MR. MR and SP started regular production very soon after their pilots were released, but MD took one year for its first non-pilot episode. After that, it produced episodes bi-monthly through episode 6. Episode 7 took seven months because of the Amazing Digital Circus pilot, giving the impression, based on what it did for season 3 of MR, that the finale would release two months later. Instead, the finale took five months because episode 2 of TADC released. This would be forgivable if Knights of Guinevere wasn't being animated completely in 2D. If we assume this gap follows the same trend as previous series, adding 3 months between episodes, the release date of episode 5 of TADC is pushed to sometime in April, but the switch to 2D animation may cause a greater delay. This is bad for business because TADC recently began a bimonthly release schedule reflective of MD and has no end in sight, lacking MD's footing and direction while bringing the studio a drove of new fans who want content in a timely manner because they aren't used to the schedule of the studio's higher fidelity projects as established by MD. The studio has nothing to appeal to them other than merchandise promotions and its back catalog, much of which may be outside of the age range attracted by TADC. The most forthcoming remedy is to increase monetization either through the release of supplemental content or a partnership with a streaming service. However, TADC's Netflix partnership brings no money for GLITCH other than, I assume, a profit sharing scheme, and its manga is only an adaptation. GLITCH's most promising revenue stream is, in my opinion, Glitch Inn. However, its current implementation is a site acting as an alternative to Patreon to prevent a middle man between the studio and payment processors. The only benefits its subscription provides are behind the scenes content and a Discord server. To make a sustainable brand, people need to be able to inundate themselves with supplementary content. While it's often pointed to as a bad thing, the thought that a brand needs to be a religion isn't entirely wrong. To stay afloat, a brand needs zealots, consumers who would be willing to spend any amount of money, and this is something achieved through a variety of methods. GLITCH has the chance for this with TADC, but it seems to not have the acumen or willpower to do it. This may be because Gooseworx lacks a plan for the studio's most profitable series. MD's creator has the zeal to make content for the show forever and created prototypes of it for years beforehand, animating two pilots for different series which could be remade and expanded with GLITCH. Without funding independent from TADC's animated content, GLITCH's future is tied to its success to fund endeavors like KoG until another popular series is made. In contrast, GLITCH's only competitor has a faster release schedule because of its regular funding from a subscription service, but it lacks market resistance and a variety of properties due to its reliance on a single creative vision.
>>43367 >In contrast, GLITCH's only competitor Who?
>>43209 Like I've said on 4Chan a while back I've assuming this could take place in the same universe as either Emmy the Robot or even Skullgirls as the scene that show what the Main character is really like (or possibly was her formal self) which you see here because, kinda reminded me of Painwheel and Peacock's from Skullgirls backstory
