As far as something story-driven like a comic goes, you're better off with trannies. They know what guys want because they are guys, and even though they're universally incredibly mentally ill even outside of just being a tranny, their writing is more likely to be good.
At this point, the only reason I still follow Star's comics is because I've been reading Shine since it started when I was 13 and it's become a sunken-cost fallacy thing for me. If I'd never read it before and had almost 600 pages of WORDSWORDSWORDSWORDSWORDS to catch up to, I wouldn't even bother. Not to mention that her artstyle degraded from genuinely really good to just passable mediocrity so she doesn't go insane trying to put max effort into what will likely end up being at least 1000-1500 pages. Seriously, look at the latest page of Shine, then look at page 1.
Regular guys just want to beat off, coom, and be done with it, so their comics are usually resolved within 10 pages and are usually little more than mindless smut. The art's hot, but the story is basically just "girl pees in pant.... AND NOW SHE'S POOPING AN DIAPER?!?!? HAWT!!!!!"
Actual women can't into brevity. They can't practice show-don't-tell, which is how you wind up with something like Shine where many pages are literally 3/4 speech bubble. This is why Shine has been going for almost a dozen years, that and the fact that women focus on how they feel about things, so they try to make some kind of psychological self-insert struggle session instead of moving the story along in a timely manner.
Trannies are gooners. They don't just want to coom like a regular guy, they want to live in a coom fantasy. So they're usually better at making a story that's actually consistently hot AND has a fleshed-out, engaging story. However, they're very mentally ill, and this instability means they make a few chapters, and then disappear from the face of the internet after a mental episode or getting wrapped up in Discord drama.
The few artists who can actually make consistently good ABDL comics that are mentally, sexually, and visually engaging always lock their shit behind a paywall. Ruugiaruu is a great example.
