Best diaper and preferred outfit is largely personal preference, as well as your own body shape- small differences in cut and material can make same size diapers from different companies fit you completely differently. My preference is for thicker, poofier, max-capacity diapers that swell a lot when full, usually with a booster pad- to that end I prefer Tykables, Rearz, and TryAgains. For my outfit, I always wear pink or light blue thigh high socks, with either a onesie or hoodie if its cold or my PretendAgain t-shirt if its warm. I sometimes feel weird just having my diaper exposed (even when alone) so I'll wear gym shorts over it, or a skirt if I'm feeling more femboyish. Onesies also help hold up your diaper so it doesn't sag too much as you fill it more. Once had a playdate with a diaper boy who wore a sort of schoolgirl outfit. Don't think I'd be into wearing my self, but it was fun pulling up his skirt for regular diaper checks.
