It was actually so bad! I wanted to like it because of the all star seiyuu cast and it was fairly creative in the beginning but you couldt ell the writers had no clue what they were doing the longer it went on so it ended up being a S T U P I D mess by the end

What would a sequel be about? I once saw some anon claiming that the director stated in an interview that he planned some sequel that had Ange going on to conquer worlds for some reason, but I never found a source, and it was probably bullshit.

The show was mediocre overall but one moment sticks with me. That scene where Ange is rotting in the normie prison and despairing about everyone in her homeland betraying her and then the dragon lady descends and starts singing and killing everyone. Everything seemed completely lost but then Ange realizes she knows the song and starts singing too. That right there is one of the most peak anime moments I've ever experienced.
