i am watching these so far. don't mind the blur, also i'm not up to date with lazarus because i'm still waiting for jp voices, though no clue when theyre coming out. Summer Pockets, mono, Apocalypse Hotel, Food for the Soul, and ZatsuTabi are the standouts for me atm

So far the first two episodes that released have a slower pacing than normal making the episode count even weirder. Also the animation looks noticeably worse, which is weird considering the previous 2 seasons looked amazing and this is being done by the same staff as the second season and it's a split cour so they should have had more time. I want to remain hopeful that the animation will improve but I'm scared >Yu-Gi-Oh! CARD GAME: THE CHRONICLES A lore Yu-Gi-Oh anime that's 11 minutes long and will release monthly episodes from now on, will be done by the newly founded Konami Animation Studio Other than those I'm considering watching Moonrise and Princess-Session Orchestra. Was kinda interested in Lazarus but it's apparently another production shitshow by Adult Swim.

here's everything i'm watching. i'm a little surprised at how much ecchi there is this season... so far, my favorites of the season are Anne Shirley and Summer Pockets. you can feel the storybook quality of Anne Shirley while watching it, it feels very innocent, and almost makes me kind of melancholy, despite not even being a particularly sad show. Summer Pockets is similar in that i can tell it's adapting a Key VN just from how it's written and everything, though inducing nostalgia seems to be what it's going for. i'm enjoying everything else i'm watching, though. i'm a bit afraid i might get sick of the three ecchi series by the end of the season, but i'll see. mono i'm enjoying far more than i thought i would. i remember getting burnt out on Yuru Camp really quickly, but i think i like mono's characters more.

>>6518 >>6606 the only of the ecchi series I'm getting tired of is the sex robot one, mostly because a sex robot being anxious about losing her virginity is a ridiculous premise, mostly because sentient robots are not real compared to Apocalypse Hotel which is just so good that I can overlook this aspect but they are doing a good job of making it ambiguous whether Yachiyo's emotions are a simulated response to stimuli based on her programming or if she is supposed to feel real feelings also they keep referring to her AI as a thing she consults rather than the process governing her entire being, so there is still a chance of a plot twist of there being a ghost in the shell this isn't the direction I wanted to take this post, anyway the point I wanted to make is that maybe certain ecchi titles might be bad, but there is nothing wrong with ecchi as a genre, e.g. Takamine-san my AOTS then again it is a completely serviceable romcom that is only enhanced by the nipples and the sleazy jazz music, rather than literally softcore porn like the others

Just watched episode 2 of gundam qux, was this shit meant to air before episode 1? I know there was a 3 episode pre-screening, but what the hell? It feels so out of place lol

>>7248 In the movie release it did start with this, which feels much more natural to me since it leads into current Bull and then the Machu antics. I think they wanted to change it because they thought that having only one episode of this would confuse people into making it feel like they were mislead. I think they should have had a 1 hr opening episode for this to get the best of both, being the lead up and showing off the main style with the main character.

for me it's apocalypse hotel, ninkoro, mono, and zatsu tabi (with apocalypse hotel and ninkoro absolutely blowing my expectations out of the water and being amazing); also considering trying Hibi wa Sugiredo Meshi Umashi and lady rock but I'm unsure about it
