Why this series is deemed ecchi? I wondered about that but still have no answer,several people claims are about sexy character design,or mature content but to date after reading all the manga and watching the anime which felt like a chore still nothing. The manga designs are rather basic and unapealing in most cases which had chizuru in a bikini she looked like a transgender man similar to the designs of gokudolls,the manga barelly had something similar to ecchi content the closest is the allusion of kazuya masturbating and that would be it,the anime design is different but goes for moe factor so less reasons there. I want to discuss why is deemed an ecchi anime/manga if it doesn't have anything to make it ecchi >no pantyshots >no chizuru dating other guys besides being rental kanojo >no shimonetas >no panty problems that force chizuru to go around nopan for a whole day suffering some accident but kazuya never realize that. >no nude scenes >no sexualized content (like wearing a miniyukata or go around in underwear or eating certain stuff in a obscene way) >No shower scenes >No competition of chizuru with an homosexual that feel atracted to kazuya (just for laughs and worked on other seinen ecchi anime) which would make her being more honest about her feelings. how is this even ecchi if there is none of that,even evangelion which isn't ecchi showed more,even doraemon a kids anime showed more. PS : before someone says "BUT THERE IS LOT OF CONTENT THAT SHOWS CHIZURU AND SHE LOOKS SEXY THERE" remember that is fan content so doesn't count and before you mention "THERE IS AN EPISODE OF CHIZURU ON SWIMSUIT" that is normal content even shoujo anime showed more.
