I have read the most recent chapters and apparently nothing relevant has happened for several chapters now.

It started out well, but the festival namek killed my interest to it. Slowly paced arcs on monthly series are always bad and the x-ray glasses chapter felt like an insult towards readers for how pointless it was on already sluggish arc.

It really felt that the author wanted to drag this shitty festival arc as much as possible then the editor told her to rush some stuff but rather than simply ending the arc like a normal person the author decided to extend the arc and resolve major character arcs in a rushed manner during this arc, it sucks so fucking badly. The only time lefty stuff in the manga left a bad taste in my mouth was the chapter where I stopped reading where they focus on this fag's flashback despite being an unimportant character to this point, his backstory not being related to the plot and it artificially extending this namek even further.
