>Artistically I've seen some low points with Tanaka's introduction episode and Nana's ones.
By execution I mean that the energy and tone is similar across the board, a few episodes are a bit QUALITY but I would argue that the average storyboard is more dynamic and energetic. The climax episodes in WP looked quite good but that felt more isolated, I think the Idol director is more hands-on with staff in general.
>Kaito, Tanaka and Nana are just there as characters and I fear for them.
I'm fine with Kaito just appearing sometimes, he isn't supposed to be a Satoru/Takumi equivalent in levels of presence.
Tanaka could use more scenes but I think the idea for him is to really be there for the idol activities episodes. As for Nana, she didn't have much presence in the Kokoro two-parter but other than that I thought they did well.
>I think it was a good idea to have Kokoro behave as the junior Cure but for nearly a cour worth of episodes I am not impressed.
I thought they did well. The bottom line is, all the girls have funny interactions between themselves, in retrospective the best bits in WP were Komugi bouncing off each character or cat duo being weirdos, which were good bits but a bit fragmented too.
Well, I type all this but I actually did enjoy WP too in a comfy kind of way, but I'm straight up preferring Idol.
