Hololive as a “collective” straight up rejecting the Stars, all those times Holos from all branches were asked about the Stars, and they directly or indirectly said they didn't want to be associated to them. You have girls like Pekora, Marine, Miko, Rushia, Mio, Korone, Okayu very recently (again), girls from other branches (The most watched) etc. Antis/trolls to this day use their words(TL), audios, and clips, some which are years olds and make sure to cause discord and discourage new and old Stars viewers to drop them.
It was never about trying to convince the Holo audience to watch the Stars, (I really, really hope cover never had this mindset) that was never the point, anyone who thinks this is just a retard (/vt/Reddit/X), it's a bout the open disrespect from top girls towards the male branch, They could have chosen to remain silent and completely ignore them instead of acknowledging them “negatively” then you have stuff like IRyS reading the infamous Holo stalker Super Chats babisky(?) and the fwmc silence.
