Wrong. Vore is not a subgenre of pregnant femdom any more than it is a subgenre of the furry fetish.
Granted, looking at this board, I think it's safe to say a lot of people are here for something resembling pregnancy fetish (the weird enormous beach ball bellies) and they call that vore, but that specific scenario, though recently very common, doesn't define the entirety of the fetish.
I remember in the early days of the internet there was a high amount of crossover between vore and dolcett content. The fetish has always gone through fads. We were infested with furries for awhile, now we're infested with futa content. I found the vore in the days of the now-defunct chupandxena.com. Hyper-pregnancy has about as much to do with vore now, as quicksand did then - tangentially related, and enables scenarios for vore or vore-like things to occur. But not a broadly defining trait for what vore is to the individual. Your theory has nothing to say for fetishists who prefer to watch women devoured by monsters/creatures.
The fetish is, and always has been, about power and submission, wherein a person is consumed alive. Simple as. No idea why you're going on about pegging - that might be your dish, but I wouldn't go ascribing my specific preferences to others.
