>>9597 It doesn't make the game more responsive, in fact it adds latency. The whole point of higher framerates and why everyone makes a big stink about 30fps is that it makes the game smoother. Fake frames is the video game equivalent of putting lipstick on a pig. Your game still runs at 80fps internally, all you get out of it is a bigger number on the overlay. Framegen is also terrible news for the hobby because it means now developers will be targeting 1440/60fps* with Framegen and DLSS as baseline for XX70+ cards which feels terrible to play and if you want actual playable framerates you will need a 4090/5090
