Millenial-boomers, did our generation ruin video games?

>>12118 wasnt me. it was the jews
>>12118 Kind of hard to say. A lot of the most harmful slop that is coming out now started development almost a decade ago. Younger Millennials like me were barely graduating college at the time but I could see a lot of younger Gen X and older Millennials joining the industry at that time. The people consuming most of the slop nowadays are all over the age spectrum, though.
>>12118 If you bough a xbox, then in the next gen a xbox 360 and wii Yes, you ruined videogames More so if you mostly bought western games
>>12118 The internet giving everyone a voice is what ruined video games and just about everything else. It's only going to get worse from here.
Im a woman
>>12136 The Internet has existed in some capacity since the first personal computers and games were released. What you're talking about is specifically the big social media platforms that were introduced in the late 2000s. Which is coincidentally when we stopped getting like 8-10 universally acclaimed classics every year and instead got maybe 2 or 3 amazing games per year at best.

>>12087 I turned 39 this week. I'd say a large amount of anons who've ended up here are probably in their later 20's and 30's.
>>12448 >8chanbob
>>12461 Yep. Sharty is a young man's game. KF feels like it's full of people even older than us. A lot of the schizos are ghost posting on archives and chans that aren't specialized in a topic.
>>12461 That’s nice sweetie :3
As someone turning 30 next year, I assume everyone in their early 20's uses Discord or some other social media platform instead of ancient technology like imageboards.
>>12436 >>12448 Let me show you how a gentleman does it >>12140 TITS OR GTFO
>>12097 Why 80s metal? Why not 90s metal? Why not 2000s metal? why not 2010s metal? Theres a lot of metal nigger
