I played through Resident Evil 6 and honestly I don't understand the hate. I found it an improvement over 5 in a few ways. While there is still enemies armed with guns (which is obnoxious) you can slide under their fire and then melee them which prevents the game from being a cover shooter. In terms of quick time events they're not any worse than they were in 5 or 4. In fact I found them better because they're more integrated into the gameplay. I don't understand the complaint that the game was too long. I thoroughly enjoyed each campaign and found them unique enough in terms of the gameplay experiences they offered. The only part of the game I significantly disliked was the story and some of the characters. They were extremely obnoxious. Especially Leon and Chris's new partners. Sherry was peak waifu tho
