Check out >>>/vita/ and feel free to contribute, tis' a new board dedicated to the amazing device we all know and love. It could use some threads, CSS, assets, banners, and whatever anons feel like suggesting or making. How about you anons? Feel free to do writeups and reviews of games you've played as well, they may end up getting added to the chart (eventually). Make sure you treat your Vita well. always love her, and never abandon her or allow her to be damaged or broken or you're no better than Soyny. And reminder not to buy anything digital that supports Soyny (unless its for archival, sharing and piracy purposes ofc, which might become important pretty soon). NEWS Monster Hunter Frontier is back on the Vita, this should be a guide or something for getting it working: https://www.yewtu.be/watch?v=wdH1CweG1Js A big Vita themes place went down but they came back I think (more or less): https://psvt.ovh/ (Backup version) http://qcnnvxi.cluster027.hosting.ovh.net/ MGBA version 0.10.2 released with some minor Vita improvements, but I still think its an imperfect emulator, haven't tested it in a long while though: https://mgba.io/2023/04/23/mgba-0.10.2/
>>1084322 >Yes, I'm the same person. And I have played a lot of these games enough to feel like they're worth recommending. Glad to see you're still around. That sounds good, thanks for confirming. >I'll admit that of the ones I've posted, those are the ones I've played the least or just cannot say enough about. Same with Vasara Collection, Dustforce, Scram Kitty, and CounterSpy. Fair enough.
>>1084583 >post got deleted Weird.

I am requesting an edit of this image as vita-tan
>>1081842 This has been brutal, but I think I'm almost done with manually making the additions (well, mostly; dunno if I'm gonna bother with making the icons accurate or not because that's just a pain in the ass). I dunno how its going to look when its all combined together, its looking like it'll be over 100 games in the chart from what I can tell. Hopefully it doesn't look bad or anything. >>1084649 try requesting in the drawthread
>>1087078 >>1081842 Almost there. Just gotta finish a few last ones up, final polishes, and then organize. If anyone has any more recommendations to add, feel free to suggest them.

BEHOLD THE UPDATED VITA CHART IN ALL IT'S GLORY Took way longer than expected but I pulled it off, my goodness.
>>1092361 excellent work, glad to see years of anons experience with games also cataloged here
Were there no Vitabros left on cuckchan or something? Did their /vitagen/ threads die? That would be shameful if so.
>>1098153 vitagen was still alive, I just doubt anyone would migrate to here.
>>1099729 Weird, why's that?

>>1092361 Wow! Thanks for including my Caligula Effect recommendation and description. Amazing work. Saved.

Greetings from the other /vitagen/ >>1092361 Nice chart, glad to see many of my favorites there
Vita means life. I've been playing WipEout Pulse on mine.

>>1106094 >>1106142 Oh shit, glad to see some of you fags showing up. That's a pleasant surprise. Welcome.
>>1106408 Well I didn't expect there to be a VITA thread on here. Ove been bouncing in and out of it for a long time. Loved the time playing EDF 2017 with /vitagen/.
>>1106518 It's probably a lot slower than what you're accustomed to (especially as time went on), but if more of you guys show up, it'll be a nice return to form for the place. A lot of anons here had fun back in the day with EDF, Freedom Wars, Dragon's Crown, etc. Rest assured that everyone in these threads loves and cherishes their Vita's.

I just ordered a vita 2000. honestly surprised to see how big the library is. I just wanted one to play monster hunter, soul sacrifice and gravity rush. Also, does anyone know if you can still play freedom unite and p3rd online?
>>1106810 >I just ordered a vita 2000. honestly surprised to see how big the library is. She punches way above her paygrade. >Also, does anyone know if you can still play freedom unite and p3rd online? I believe that there's some fags running some private serbs for MHFU, dunno about P3rd.
Modded by vita a while back and gotta say its a great device >Is extremely pocketable >screen looks great >controls are nice Too bad the game library is kinda shit if you dont like anime mostly sticking to playing psp games on adrenaline
>>1107250 Oh right, i was wondering, do you need to boot into the emulated psp homescreen to play psp games, or can you play them from the regular vita homescreen? i haven't got my vita yet, but i imagine adrenaline is similar to twilight menu on the 3ds. the 3ds homebrew has an application called ndsforwarder that lets you put nds games on the 3ds homescreen, bypassing the need to go into twilightmenu. so does vita homebrew have something similar?
>>1107336 I'm pretty sure you can do either if you do it right, the Vita should have something similar, yeah. I think if you install games through PKGJ it should allow you to launch it through a bubble, which will open it up in Adrenaline.
>>1107336 Yes but it’s basically just a regular psp screen and it loads much faster and you can even exit the app unlike the 3ds
>>1107336 There is a homebrew called "adrenaline bubble manager" that can create bubbles for each psp game, then you can launch them directly from the vita menu Also worth mentioning that some people don't like using adrenaline and use "chovy-sign" for ps1&psp games
>>1107250 Yeah, it definitely didn't get much western AAA love and missed out on stuff it should've gotten. It got a lot of good indie ports though.
>>1107336 Like the other anon said, you can use Adrenaline Bubble Manager to make bubbles for your PSP and PS1 games, but the bubble interface is such a nightmare that I would never do such a thing. I probably have five times more PSP and PS1 games on my Vita than Vita games, and the Vita games that I do have are already a pain to sort into folders that make any kind of sense.
>>1112369 What PSP and PS1 games do you have on it anon?
>>1118577 not the anon but I played the trails series (sky and ao/zero) , persona 3 portable, xenogears, ridge racer, Little Busters, and started a bunch of other stuff. Those all ran perfectly.
>>1119119 Noice, I heard there were issues with ao/zero though, like the cooking recipe crash bug, was that ever fixed?
>>1118577 A shitload. When I was setting everything up I kept a spreadsheet of what I was putting on it and what category it went into. I got rid of the spreadsheet after I was done though.
