>>1162393 Nope, that’s where they go. You can also just throw them in the mods folder, but that will erase anything you may have added when you update the sideloader through the launcher. Then again, you shouldn’t do that anyway since the repo is outdated. Though you may want to use KKModManager to look through your mods and delete any duplicates (use the “show same GUID” button).

Is there a way to get a belt accessory to bend along with your bottom clothes so it doesn't clip, or do I just live with it?

>>1166493 Unless some wizard changed things in the year I've been away, accessories can only have one parent. So even if an accessory was theoretically articulated enough to deform to that degree, it wouldn't know to do it. Say the belt has "lower back" as the parent. It's now attached to what amounts to a bolt in the girl's sacrum. So if she squats down, it'll move along with her back, but it has no way of knowing that her legs are in the way.

This comes with a bunch of belts in the hips category. No guarantee they'll be exactly what you want though.
