Wanted to make a quick thread considering that Xenoblade X just leaked out and that Xenoblade 4 is an inevitability considering how successful the series was on the OG Switch. I do wonder how they'll approach the series going forward and if they'll just build on top of Xenoblade X instead of the Klaus trilogy. Perhaps we'll get Xenoblade X2 rather than Xenoblade 4 all things considered. Either way I've heavily enjoyed this series and look forward to see where Nintendo and Monolith Soft take this series. Especially now where we've reached a point where the story of Klaus is basically finished and that the series will basically have to do what the original Xenoblade did. The deeper you go into XB2 gameplay stuff, the more it feels like the devs has no fucking idea what those numbers even mean and put seemingly random values on certain things. I just started playing xenogears for the first time since there's not much else to play, old rpgs filter my zoomer brain, but I want to force myself to play this one since people praise the story. Any tips? Also got some patches, including one that makes the translation more accurate.

>>1156269 Well damn I suppose I'm 100 yearshours too early to be fighting this guy. It's been a decade, but I've apparently forgotten or never learned most of how the game worked. I never touched overdrive, never used half of the classes, never mixed weapons, mess with different skill/art combos, paid attention to what characters work well with each other, looked at elemental attacks or resistances, let alone every look at the superbosses or global nemeses. It's like diving into the game with a completely fresh set of eyes, except this time I can actually wrap my head around it all. I really can't believe these madmen had this out on the wiiu.

>>1160383 Each chapter is roughly as long as 2 or 1.5 base game chapters and there's 2 affinity mission per DE party members. It also comes with a small new area that you can explore eventually with somewhat unique challenges. The answer on whether it's worth a replay very much depends on how full or recent the first playthrough is, I haven't played the OG game in a decade and I appreciate the game and it's small details a lot more now and ,for much of my complaining, quick cooldown helped getting less optimized builds online faster and battles are more engaging now that you don't have to wait for the secondary cooldowns on top of the normal cooldowns.
