Where should I start?" for modern FE experience is Three Houses (Switch - 2019) or Engage (Switch - 2023), and for semi old school FE experience is Awakening (3DS - 2012) or Fates (3DS - 2015) or Echoes (3DS - 2017). There’s an avatar/My Unit, but their only purpose is to perform summons. There is a lot of debate on the canonicity of the game. To make it simple, consider Heroes to be canon within the Heroes universe for now. I want to use Brom because I like the family man archetype of character, but what's the best way to use him? I figure I'm probably best off leaving him on the bench until I get the Knight Ward then using BExp to level him, but at the same time Astrid will want BExp too, or should I just level her up through combat?
>first post
>>1168665 Astrid uses bows and bows are pretty accurate. Double damage with effective weapons sucks, but still, you can get her pretty far without worrying about how fragile she is. If you have a lot of bexp, give a few levels to Astrid so she can actually do some damage, but spend most of it on Brom witht he knight ward. Brom is harder to train, have to be more careful. Also helps a lot to give Brom a solid support bonus. Nephenee works, if you want. Not the most stellar support, but it does well for them both and they can hold chokes together.
>>1168542 This is just a scimblo opportunity for San and not Est? Kaga did fe8 first.
>>1168002 She dyes her hair partially purple to be more like camilla.

Seriously, if there's one thing Engage did right, it is Anna. A proper, actual unit.
