Previous Thread: >>476242 SITES TO FIND SHIT, CHECK HERE BEFORE ASKING Gitgud archive and Volafile are as good as dead and as such have been pruned entirely, don't rely on them for anything. https://vimm.net - Accessible archive of retro console games. https://gog-games.to - Downloads of GOG's titles. Owner throws tantrums a lot so the site occasionally goes down. https://archive.org - Internet Archive, you would be very surprised how much is here if you go looking. https://www.myabandonware.com - Mostly retro PC games, often obscure and "abandoned" titles. The following are cracking/repacking sites. If there's a major release, it'll probably show up on one of these. https://dodi-repacks.site https://kaoskrew.org https://fitgirl-repacks.site Privacy and OPSEC tools Try not to get yourself v&, OK? en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Anonymous_p2p#List_of_anonymous_P2P_networks_and_clients wiki.installgentoo.com/index.php/Anonymising_yourself privacytools.io thatoneprivacysite.net Emulation Think you're a bad enough dude to emulate games? Must be accessed through Internet Archive.) Guide to a Happy Share Thread >Requesters 1. Before requesting, search online and even use distributed search engines (e.g. InfraSearch, Opencola, YaCy, FAROO). 2. Look in linked sites at the top of the OP 3. Be as specific as possible. A title, release year and cover art will help. 4. Some links might purposely be misleading by having spaces, lines, keys & passwords split in the post. This includes torrent hashes. a. If you see a string of characters (e.g. c12fe1c06bba254a9dc9f519b335aa7c1367a88a) with or without dashes, it is a magnet link. b. If your bittorrent is shit, prepend magnet:?xt=urn:btih: to the string. c. Find and Replace (sed/tr/awk) is your friend. >Uploaders
[Expand Post]1. Try to make sure whatever you post isn't infected with 15 different Russian crypto miners. 2. Please make sure your files actually work. 3. If your link is password protected, PLEASE provide it. This isn't Cicada 3301, nobody wants to play riddles. 4. If there are any special provisions in playing a game, such as requiring SmartSteamEmu or a cracked executable, don't assume everybody knows that and provide clear instructions. 5. Try to avoid uploading to sites that require an account or throttle download speed. a. ESPECIALLY not websites that make you jump through hoops to setup an account. Again, nobody likes riddles. b. Websites that limit you to one download at a time or every X number of hours should also be avoided. 6. No "Oh, you can find that on SLSK" or "This private tracker has the upload!". Don't defer to private communities and don't just tell somebody where the files are, actually share them! Most importantly, DO WHAT YOU WANT BECAUSE A PIRATE IS FREE.

There aught be more Chaika in her thread.
I came across a Mega with a terabyte at least of good shit, but the asshole who curated it never offloaded it off of Mega so I currently have to deal with the 5 Gig limit imposed on my IP, forcing me to have to change the IP address every time I reach that limit. This is obviously going to be unfeasible for a mega folder as big as this. Does anyone here have any tips for offloading shit from Mega that does NOT include coughing up whatever money those faggots want for unlimited rates?
>>1068910 There used to be a mega-downloader program running on winbloats, but while it made downloading large databases pretty handy (since it just retries as soon as your limit is refilled), for some absurd reasons it would ignore any folder structure and just dump everything into a single folder. Your best bet is to scrape all the direct links to the files, then feed them to some sort of script that automatically goes through a list of proxies and downloads a file per proxy.

https://archive.fo/wpSBv https://archive.fo/1v1eO The Video Game History Foundation Launches Its Massive Digital Library >Today, the Video Game History Foundation launches early access to its digital archive of video game history research materials, available now at library.gamehistory.org. >Ever since we started in 2017, the Video Game History Foundation has been building a digital library to help the study of video game history. We’ve been collecting development documents, behind-the-scenes content, rare video game publications and catalogs, magazines, memorabilia, ephemera, and more. >After years of cataloging, processing, and digitizing our collections, we’re ready to open our (virtual) doors to the public for the first time. https://library.gamehistory.org/ Is this legitimate? I am immediately wary of anything to do with nonprofits.
>>1069101 Wonder how long till they start censoring their archive.

If anyone has the latest release of Peripeteia, or knows where to find it, let me know.

>>1073793 https://mega.nz/file/jZZhRISa#3sbjgBTxYwsjYjBdAWaro63v9iayJCu4O2-_ub1g-8w Do you not know how to torrent? Or find pirated games in general?
>>1073793 >>1073853 Hey buddy, I see you pirating the game that a set of developers worked very hard on. That's unacceptable, here are some steam keys instead. IE962-?FV86-CX5RP MLN6J-W9DWA-K5?7L 82E0R-V5J0C-VK?KL X = ?
>>1073853 My usual sources have Peripeteia but not the latest builds, in fact the most recent I could find was from January. Presumably, this big release has included a lot that the game would be sorely missing. >>1073860 I appreciate the Steam Key, but I have a right to pirate, especially for a game that was developed by a fellow /v/rother (although rumors say he is inundated by Discord faggotry now) who would surely not have hesitated to pirate things back in his day.
>>1073873 Are you reffering to Shodanon or Snake
Anyone has a coh1000w.zip with the "78081g503.ic655" and "at28c16" files present? For primrag2 purposes.
>>1076393 I strongly doubt it
>>1076393 Yeah, it's one of the oldest surviving sites for that purpose. It distributes trainers and cracks (for owned games), nothing more. It's pretty much entirely safe. Ross Scott (the Stop Killing Games guy) recommended it years ago.
>>1076415 >years ago Things may have changed for the worse.
>>1076393 >gamecopyworld jesus, that brings back memories.
Any recomendations ona torrent/magnet friendly VPN (aside from links posted in OP)

I'm looking for this specific MUGEN build https://www.patreon.com/mugenmake https://kemono.su/patreon/user/91981709 From what I can tell, many characters that are no longer available anywhere else are in this pack, but some faggot is holding it hostage for 10bux and all the links I've found are dead. If anyone has this or would be willing to shell out a Hamilton so the rest of us would have it, I would appreciate it
>>1079086 Do you know which characters that can't be found anywhere? >>1078953 I'd use OpenVPN and find some better proxies that are usually paid.
Is there a link to Creamapi and has it ever worked for you? It was flagged as dangerous when trying to download it from github
>>1078953 I use the Mullvad in conjunction with its dedicated browser sometimes
>>1080215 >Is there a link to Creamapi and has it ever worked for you? It's been a while so I don't remember where I got it but I did use it and it did work (Unlocked the backer ships for Rtype Final 2) >It was flagged as dangerous when trying to download it from github It "should" be fine >>1078953 Azire VPN through Wireguard has never failed me, though since I just asked a buddy of mine with a dedicated server in moldavia if he couldn't spare me a bit of time and set up Wireguard on it which he did. >>1074964 https://pleasuredome.github.io/pleasuredome/mame/index.html Should have you covered for any public MAME needs (if the ROM files ain't here they're not public yet)
Here's something you can try: Itorah: https://pixeldrain.com/u/57AvH1Cj Samurai Jack Battle Through Time: https://gofile.io/d/AjBojq 20XX: https://gofile.io/d/DEc3DU
So given how technically illiterate the modern 8chan userbase is, reconstructing the old share culture is going to be somewhat difficult. I guess I should start with baby steps, reintroducing people to how pirates found new releases, distributed them, and dispersed them into the zeitgeist as opposed to the more passive "talk about thing on sociopathic media you have never actually engaged with hands on" norms these days. So here are five recent releases, they all should have had demos in previous Steam Next Fests. >Maid Cafe on Electric Street https://mega.nz/file/HNwGFLjB#YqQ-frzR0hFKzO6ZyBeFmMU6uxCe0Kzjion2WTyMMjQ >All in Abyss: Judge the Fake https://mega.nz/file/h1xThYYT#PSh6BwTOyCufqbjGMqNkOaNezgtMjxbpoLde6Q-uoLM >SaGa Emerald Beyond https://mega.nz/file/jWhWGTbb#uL_lYxZA9MzUzbSu78_7SmCEzWhVrwtCA5sc9KldGkc >Haste: Broken Worlds https://mega.nz/file/A943TQRZ#seIH6CzrbrZPl_V4bpV_s5mhRCoyv3Y-_-k-OU-eyv0 >AI Limit https://mega.nz/file/DpoCXYoS#BzUi4eSzoQzzRACObdpM88Z1_-2qV1IaZOnuRgRqRQo Eventually with enough momentum, posters here will learn to find new games to DL for free on their own and discover new titles to try independently.
Why did we never call these threads /scurv/ generals in honor of a fallen board?
This isn't vidya but what're the current anons' go-to places to find movie/tv torrents now that RARBG and TGX are ded? Also for anyone that didn't know, CDRomance is basically done, if you want new shit Spike uploads you gotta sign up for his forums to access the repository. You can use a burner email, I think he's just paranoid about Jewtendo takedowns and whatnot >>1097406 If I'm not mistaken, and somebody can correct me if I'm wrong, but the original 8/v/ sharethreads actually predate the creation of /scrurv/
