i really want a new trilogy with ryza as the master and a student like sophie. someone who is a genius but not talented like ryza, ryza is a literal achemist jesus that neverh ad to try really hard where as sophie had to study a lot. i want to see ryza grow as a character trying to learn how to teach someone, maybe asking tips from her old master who now has bunny kids also student needs to be a perma flatty jealous of ryza assets

JRPGchads, how do you feel about Atelier Yumia's translation/localization? I'm one of those fags that bitches and whines about the english text not matching the japanese voices (NEO Twewy and FF7 Remake/Rebirth being the worst offenders, practically fan rewrite-tier) and was delightfully surprised when I realized it's pretty faithful this time. However, I sometimes feel like the translation is "too" literal. For example, when activating levers/pressure switches your party members will say 動いた which the english text translates as "it moved". This is not wrong, however, considering the context wouldn't it be better to use something like "it activated"? What are your thoughts on the overall Yumia translation?
