/ptg/ - Private Trackers General Anonymous 04/17/2025 (Thu) 13:28:15 No. 17776
Refugee edition >Not sure what private trackers are all about? A private tracker is a torrent website that provides the same functionality as a public tracker but is invite-only. Each member share common goals: collecting, preserving and discussing media. >Have a question? - FAQ https://archive.is/UVQkn - WIKI https://igwiki.lyci.de/wiki/Private_trackers - STUDY https://www.cambridge.org/core/services/aop-cambridge-core/content/view/2F379FE0CB50DF502F0075119FD3E060 - SPREADSHEET https://hdvinnie.github.io/Private-Trackers-Spreadsheet/ - TEN CURRY COMMANDMENTS https://pastebin.com/raw/dBbdE73M - TEN NEON COMMANDMENTS https://pastebin.com/raw/Ud2pGYaE - IRC irc://irc.sageru.org#ptg >Remember the following: >READ THE OP BEFORE MAKING A FUCKING QUESTION YOU RETARDED FAGGOT >It doesn't matter if you use the same username in different trackers, the staff still share your IP with each other. >Staff is reading, being /marked/ is NOT a meme, and even if it is, it isn't. >Don't ask for invites, it's private for a reason. >If starting out you should interview for RED, rank to TM, wait on account age and get invites from there. THAT'S IT THAT IS ALL YOU HAVE TO DO >Bonus points are for hoarding, not for spending. >When the website dies, you will be able to migrate your bp and buffer to animeZ >the easiest way into trackers is a time machine >【NEWS】 >Torrentseeds shutting down
If anyone has a fucking KamePT invite, I'll trade you a Jpopsuki one for it.
>>17776 >Muh sekrit club
just moved back into a sneedbox for the third time. this one has jellyfin but I don't feel like messing with it a ton so I'd rather use airsonic to watch videos. except for jap cartoons because only jellyfin has an audio track and subtitle selector. but the prowlarr can't query karagarga because of cloudflare
>FearNoPeer open registration >Old Toons World doing an Easter advent event
this is ptg. We don't do this kinda shit here
Why does every clone have better features and software than 4chan? I hope they come back with something more modern than yotsuba.
I hate it that I have to wait like 4 months in order to get into AB and then I have to wait like a least a month on both AB and GGN because the recruiter is shit.
>>17910 I feel like ggn is restructuring rn. They have a lot of new staff trainees. For me recruitment was p fast
>>17779 Neon please
I hope digitalcore does another open signup now that torrentseeds is shutting down. I thought I had no use for it when they were open last month now I'm regretting not signing up.
FL Easter evenst started.
>>17836 I would fucking love it if they just went with one of the modern open source alternatives but I seriously doubt they'd do that. >>17933 Which tracker? >>17933
>>17940 I think by FL he means FileList
/ptg/ isn't sleeping it's just dead
>>17949 not like it's much slower than when it's on 4chan
>>17950 How will I feel like I'm in an active thread if I can't read neons giving updates about every single thing that happens on Aither?
>>17951 this is honestly not much slower than /g/ was, the only difference is no one is ruining threads loudly seething about OS wars, and not enough people are posting their battlestations or desktops
>>17951 Yeah the neons probably couldn't find this place, but I'm looking forward to going back to 4chan when it's up
I miss /t/ board so much bros.
I'm trying to help my elderly mother cut cable. Next time I'm home, I'm gonna try to set her up with a NAS and Jellyfin. But as far as getting >kontent I'm trying to figure out the most user-friendly way for her to search and download torrents since there's no way she'd understand how this shit works. I'm on PTP, BTN, RED and ORPH -- all gazelle trackers I believe. Has anyone made a nice interface for searching multiple gazelle trackers at once (I'm thinking just combine music, TV and Film into one search for her) and adding them to qBitorrent-nox? I guess maybe something along the lines of Prowlarr but more user friendly for an old lady lol?
>>17980 Let me help you, Anon. If you really want to do things you mention and if you're willing to give up certain private trackers, it may be better to >Set her up with some device that runs Kodi. Set top box, Android, LibreELEC/CoreELEC, a PC etc..whatever. >Get a Premiumize subscription or RealDebrid or something depending on how much you want to spend >A couple of up to date Kodi pirate addons that basically scrape everything and integrate, and then pull from cached torrents This will let her basically have access to everything without having to download it first (or at all, really . No managing when its downloaded and deleting when its done etc). She just opens Kodi goes to the Seren or whatever the fuck other pirate addon and searches for the show name, goes to the season and ep she wants, picks a torrent (you can actually have this auto-magically just do it for her if you want picking the first one but sometimes there are issues) and watches the thing. My mom and dad are working with the same thing and its a fuckload easier than managing a ton of torrents locally, manually, especially with private tracker upload demands and the like.
>>17980 what anon said with realdebrid is the optimal normie choice or take a look at overseerr, although i don't know if that's what you're looking for
I've been missing y'all. I ranked up and got better pets on GGn
Do you know of some udemy course torrent sites? please

Private trackers are retarded seekrit clubs for circlejerkers. Use Soulseek with the Nicotine+ client. Served me well since 2019, and it's been operating since the early 2000s.
>>18136 lmk when SLSK can rival PTP, BTN, AB, BIB and GGn for curation, searchablity, and size
hi ptg
>>18167 hello
>>17980 First of all, why are you trying to set her up with her own NAS? Wouldn't it be significantly easier just to give her access to your Jellyfin remotely? Secondly, you need to set up Radarr and Sonarr (https://trash-guides.info/) and then Jellyseerr on top of that. There's your answer.
Fuck it's nice being non-retarded and able to find torrents for literally anything I need ever without using a gay club invite >ur tastes r bad >u can't get 4k/old or rare media/this artist I like/ this ultra specific thing/literally anything else >ur quality will be bad It's always a skill issue, always
>>18136 SLSK is dogshit. I can just download most of that shit from Deezer ripping websites. I think you're a fucking retard for not knowing about them and I think lesser of you because of it.
>>18193 Nobody cares that your favorite capeshit is easy to find. There was no reason for you to announce it. Sit down and shut the fuck up.
>>18203 >U-ur capeshit Fuck it's nice to have a thread completely dedicated to how I'm better than people, brb gonna watch the ufotable touhou movie again
>>18205 Go watch your 2gb 1080p YTS rips I don't care faggot die. This is private tracker general not insufferable faggot yapping about how he loves public trackers general. You are lost. Go find some place where you actually belong you worthless waste of oxygen. Your mother should have aborted you instead of shitting her out of her rancid cunt because obviously the mix of your dumbass father and your whore mother's genes didn't amount to anything useful. You can't even read where it says PRIVATE TRACKER GENERAL you fucking stupid ass illiterate piece of shit. We will all be better off when you stop breathing.

>>18202 >Le secrit club If you can't find what you need without joining the pirate freemasons it's a skill issue: you lack the skills to find what you seek without help, you can love your private trackers as a noob-friendly way of getting decent material if you want, but the elitism angle is just weird, you're objectively not as good at doing these things as someone who can get this content without the help of others Instead of crying about this fact, why doesn't /ptg/ focus on this angle, if it were about creating communities to help newer more retarded pirates leveling up from TPP find things they want it would be great for everyone, instead you just act like retarded redditors, why do you do this anon?
>>17836 It's damn interesting to see the different implementations! A positive bit of the whole situation. >>17926 >digitalcore They were open several times in the last months! And did you have a look at the invite subreddit? >>17975 this!
>>17975 I tried making one here but I never got the confirmation email, maybe you guys will have better luck t. the guy who made autistic torrents general t. also the guy who would make "threadkiller" threads to piss off jannies and try to save the board If anyone manages to remake the torrents board post it here and when I get some time I'll fill it with good shit
>>18257 1. The "secrit clubs" are accessible. And there are a number of trackers! /ptg/ just talks about that realm (pt's)!? and 2. The public sites are even easier to access so is it really needed to advertise the public sites more? (Plus, there are places where you can advertise a public site!) And you could always ask something more or less related!?
>>18273 Could you point out where in the post I've told you to stop having /ptg/ or to start advertising public trackers? I'm criticizing the retarded reddit elitism you have for what is objectively a worse way to torrent Using public sites well requires use of aggregators and isn't really something a typical retard can enter into and use without fucking their system up, private trackers do a service as the middle level, allowing people who wouldn't otherwise have access to this content reach it Where it becomes gay is this secret club attitude that reaches the point of asking for entire IP range leech blocklists for countries you don't like, or just acting superior everywhere like a pack of faggots when really you have no idea what you're doing, these attitudes damage piracy for everyone else because you decide to seed only for your sekrit club out of a feeling of entitlement, the same mentality as people with unreleased games who don't make online backups people can access, it's all just really homosexual and pathetic and I can't take you guys seriously
>>18275 dude is so mad he came all the way to an entirely to domain
>>18306 You will never know freedom from me, I'm a member of a bunch of your trackers btw, you've probably connected to my ip directly, does that make you feel dirty?
>>18275 I also prefer private trackers, but anyone should be able to use qbittorrent search, jackett, and a vpn
>>18314 It's a barrier to entry to zoomzooms, I don't know man, I don't like the culture around private trackers, it's very reddit, it always has this air of elitism that is kind of undeserved, and I always end up finding better shit on public sites at the end of the day, at this point the only reason I still seed private torrents is for rare music artists, they're the only thing I've found to be an actual pain sourcing outside of private trackers - not that you can't though, it's just nice to get the entire discography in one place I don't want to bash on people just doing things the way they want to, I just tire of nigger elitism
>>18316 >better shit Lmao I highly doubt it. Public trackers have no quality control. Also private trackers have the most comprehensive selection of media available. I know there's a ton of shit that isn't on public trackers that people who don't have access to private trackers want. I was filling requests for people on /t/ on 4chan so I know. I don't think you should be trying to join BTN or PTP if all you watch is capeshit but you faggots that act like it's not necessary at all have no idea what you're talking about and need to shut the fuck up. Your input simply isn't needed in the private tracker general, nobody cares what you think at all.
>>18326 Anon, the quality control is (you) >you can source things without my secret club? shut the fuck up! Yeah it's a skill issue, you don't know how to find high quality content without a private tracker, neither do the dregs of 4chan /t/, but for those that do it's a better experience to use public trackers, all you ever do when confronted with this fact is seethe and cry about how your taste is superior It's like the IQ meme, at the low end you have the dregs who are fine watching 480p rips of Twister from TPB because they dont give a shit, the midwits in their secret club talking about their lost Japanese samurai films they think only they have, and then the high IQ is back to public torrents because he remembers the japanese name of that tv only anime special and heads on over to that Japanese torrent protocol search and grabs it from 12 seeders (he doesn't seed because he's not needed there)
at the end of the day it depends on how you plan to use the files if you want to build a comprehensive collection that is robust in terms of quality and authenticity, then joining the sekrit jerkoff club will most likely be more efficient than sifting through multiple sources trying to find a specific thing if your only goal is to only find a few things, just searching for it on public sources will be much faster i've found some stuff only hosted on pts, and i've found stuff only hosted by one random user on slsk
>>18336 Fuck I've literally never had trouble finding stuff on public trackers, rare stuff sometimes hides in bigger torrents, I remember this one stupid show, I don't remember it's name but it was a disection show that aired on live tv that I tuned into as a kid, they'd cut up recently deceased people on live tv on SBS at like 11 at night "for educational purposes" well I remembered it one day and just digging the name out was a little bit of a pain, there was a single torrent listed from 2008 I think with a single leech who had 27% All it took to find it at the time was to look for collection packs of the channel and single it out for download, which I found on gopher iirc There's a time element for some things, music sucks and if you want a really specific cut of something occasionally private is better, but you can do everything on public trackers without the reddit social experience and necessary elitism that comes with private ones If people like private trackers that's fine I don't want to shit on people for just doing what they enjoy but posts like this >>18326 >Shut the fuck up I'm better than you Make me want to sit in this thread and shit in it every single time
Missed you guys so fucking much. Does this place have /tv/?
>>18333 You have no clue what you're talking about. Just because you can source all your weeb shit on nyaa doesn't mean public trackers are complete. >>18337 What's the point of coming to the private tracker thread if you aren't interested in private trackers? Are you mentally retarded? >but I totally troll u lmao No you just waste your time.
>>18339 >You have no clue what you're talking about >I will now do a worse job of finding the content I like than you, but also act like a redditor about it Fuck I am retarded for not shitposting and actually talking about it
>>18341 Well anon nobody cares about attempts to console war private trackers and public trackers. Use what works best for you. But anything about public trackers is off topic in this thread. I think public trackers are dogshit but I do my best to make them a better experience for people who don't have access to private trackers. I filled many requests for rare content and went out of my way to keep it seeded on public trackers even though the people downloading it from me just hit and run. If I was trying to use it to serve my own ends it would be fucking useless, but it doesn't need to be like that for everyone. If it serves your needs completely then obviously you're downloading nothing but capeshit. You can try to deflect but we already know. If it's not capeshit it's a 2GB YTS special because that's all that stays seeded on the public cesspools. Nobody here cares if you think that's good enough. Again, off topic.
>>18337 i've found consistently that pts are generally much more consistent in terms of quality and sourcing, but you're right on most of the things being available elsewhere >you can do everything on public trackers without the reddit social experience and necessary elitism that comes with private ones granted i'm not in most of them, but i think most people that do join are recommended to not interact at all with the pt forums/teams. just grab and seed whatever you have, respect the rules (mainly about the economy if you don't participate "socially") and you're fine. the social experience aspect is completely optional (and frankly, if you participate in it, you should go outside and find real humans to interact with). the only elitism is the club joining aspect which is necessary for keeping quality and long-term seeding in place. >>18338 https://8chan.se/tv/ pretty dead, but hey be the change you want to see. you can also create a new board or something idk
>>18343 >I-its o-off topic to talk about the inferiority of private trackers in a private tracker thread >you can't just talk about private trackers in a thread about private trackers >But by the way join our secret club racket or your taste is bad or something Have you ever counted the stars in the sky anon? >>18346 It's not been my experience, I upload something and suddenly everyone wants to get up in my shit, being "elitist" in the sense that you keep out people not adding to the quality of the community is fine, it's people like the other guy I replied to that convince people like me to hate pt users, I've got nothing against people like you who just prefer it
>>18346 It's also important to note that most of what's on public trackers is sourced from private trackers. The last time this came up on 4chan /ptg/ I called the public fags a bunch of ingrates for not understanding this. All the shit they download either originated at a private tracker or the scene. It's pretty obvious that the bots posting the scene releases are getting them from private trackers too. If you ran such a bot would you pay for scene FTP access when you could just get every new scene release for free from private trackers without adding additional complexity to your bot? It's not like the file fairy comes around every few minutes and makes new torrents for these clueless retards who have no idea where they come from. All this content comes from somewhere, and somewhere happens to be private trackers. >>18347 If it's secret then why are we here discussing it? Fucking retard. Also you missed the part where I discussed how I am a prolific uploader on public trackers. There's a reason why most people who deal with sourcing content and sharing it don't want to operate on altruism alone. It's because people like you aren't grateful at all. The people who download from me on public trackers are lucky I think doing mass copyright crimes is fun and like watching the bandwidth flow out. I get nothing else out of it.
>>18349 >W-whats on public trackers is actually from private trackers LMAOOOO While what you said is incredibly untrue, it would also add to the argument that private trackers are pointless, since it all leaks to public anyways >>18349 I didn't miss it, I acknowledged it to myself and thought it didn't make up for you being such a faggot >le mass copyright crimes It's civil actually anon, are you a glownigger? it would be interesting if private trackers were a honeypot for prolific pirates
>>18349 >>18350 yeeaaaah i think i'll let you two duke it out, but thanks for the insights
>>18350 You're quite simply a moron. Most people don't care if content "leaks out" from private trackers. I am personally against marking anything as exclusive as some trackers do. I think it's completely stupid to try to enforce a new form of copyright on some pirated content. But whatever. On private trackers I have access to more content, in higher quality, with faster speeds. It's that simple. I only get slow speeds when I'm downloading truly obscure content. in that case good luck finding it on public trackers at all. I share with the public because I can. But when it comes to my own needs, downloading something I want to watch or whatever, I want a hassle free experience. I have fiber internet so it's rare that any movie I want to watch takes more than 5 minutes for me to download.
>>18354 >You're a moron for being correct >I don't care that all my special torrents are available elsewhere >Despite it being available elsewhere I have access to more content (???) >It's faster for more obscure content That one is true well done Wait >I want a hassle free experience so I just download what I want to watch when I want to watch it Lol you don't store any of it, you're just using torrents to replace streaming aren't you, holy kek that explains so much! Also it's 2025, fiber is normal now
>>18359 Well here's the thing. "All" of our special torrents aren't available elsewhere. You just get a limited selection of our sloppy seconds. Also if it's more than 2 years old (1 if I'm being more conservative lmao) good luck finding seeds on it. Anyway I made this thread and filled most of the requests in it, nearly everything I could: https://archived.moe/t/thread/1357164 It was all sourced from either private trackers or usenet. There was maybe one thing I ripped from a streaming service I have access to myself. The majority of it should still be seeded too. I'm really not interested in the console war faggotry. I don't use public torrents for anything other than downloading Linux ISOs because they have no other use to me at all. But I totally understand why someone wouldn't want to join RED and spam a bunch of Deezer FLACs then wait 2 years just to join PTP to find one movie they've been after for years. I want to help people like that. I don't want to fill the world up with more Marvel capeshit in 4K. There are bots doing that already. I want to make rare content more readily accessible.
>>18361 You sound like the sleezy salesman who bugs my wife at 9am before I wake up trying to sell heavy bags he can't offload >He hheh not all >Implying Also why did you make a thread for """rare""" tv and not seed ANYTHING, I know because I downloaded every movie in that thread and almost none were from the torrents you posted because you had let them all die I'm the creator of autistic torrents general, by the way
>>18362 >implying I have torrents seeding with more than one server and I haven't removed the majority of the stuff on here that was for /t/. People are still downloading from me even though 4chan is dead, probably finding these torrents through DHT. Also there's nothing to sell. I don't give a shit if you join a private tracker or not. I make good use of them but for your own needs use what works best.
>>18363 >"rare"
>>18365 Not all of the torrents in the screenshot are from that thread. The cartoons thread is well represented here. I posted all over that board. When something is not rare per se it may be hard to find in good quality on a public tracker. I try to actually pay attention to what's available and grab the best version if someone making a request doesn't have very specific demands. Like that guy who wanted the Helen of Troy Bluray image, normally I wouldn't post those but that's specifically what he wanted. Good luck finding something like that on public trackers under normal circumstances. Same with the Limitless DVD9. I bet you can find Limitless easily but if you want the full DVD you're shit outta luck. The average public tracker user does not care about quality so usually what stays seeded has the lowest file size available. Bots do make higher quality versions available to them but they die after so long. Based rarbg was giving public tracker fags the private tracker experience but they did such a poor job of keeping most of that shit seeded.
>>18337 yall really fell for this low quality bait, huh
>>18380 You think I need a reason to post walls of text about niche topics I'm autistically obsessed with? This is how we keep the spirit of 4chan alive. It's not taking the bait when you're doing what you love to do. I'll sperg about this shit unprompted, being given a prompt makes it no different.
