Are we back?
>>7 We have never been more back than now. Honestly I'm just waiting for the /rwbyg/ refugees to come in, or even just other ofshoots of the rwby fandom. I might even get autistic later and redesign the board so it looks RWBY themed, but for now I'm seeing where this ship will bring us. Secretly I'm hoping this becomes the defacto /rwbyg/ board instead of using /trash/ as our stomping ground. As a final note to an unanswered question: yes, NSFW art is allowed here. I'm leaving this thread open for further questions but will lock it soon.
Any anons left over from the original /rwby/ on OG 8chan? There was a time we made a lot of OC but it's all gone, like tears in the rain.

We survived
Since we have this board, can I move the rwby trash general over here then?
>>12 Yeah, Duh.
>>10 I posted there years back in 2015. Long time ago though. If you're lookin' for art, some of the threads and images were archived in archive.is
>>15 I think it was 2015 anyway
No that I am against the move, but don't we lack people for a board yet? Unless you guys want to spread links around that scarlet forum or whatever.
>>16 >>15 Yeah, that sounds about right. We had whole OC threads (and I posted mine in them). I'll take a peek at archive but I hope we can get something like that going again here.
>>34 Someone get on that. The board was made before the latest thread on 8/co/ And a bunker is a good thing to have. 4chan is likely to be back up eventually. We can make an outpost there then, and link to this place, slowly getting people over here. I had the same experience when 8ch was killed years back.

Damn, this was made days ago? It's really hard to keep track of where everyone went.
>>2 A couple questions actually, although I am sure we will find this out in time: 1. What's the bump limit (autosage post count)? 2. Is there a limit at which threads lock? 3. When would you prefer we make a new thread, especially for the general? Since this is a pretty focused topic board as well, I assume the way threads should be is something like a ship can have a thread, a character can have a thread, etc. Seems like people are already doing that but just wanted to say that as well.
>>10 I'm the current board owner there, but it's totally cooked. 8kun went through some shit and is kind of in a weird spot right now, so I thought I might as well make this board here instead. So far it's been treating us right I'd say. We can even post sound webms like in the good old days. >>34 If you want, you can spread the word to as many people as you know/can. My goal is to get the main gang from the 4/trash/ threads to here, just because it's a more manageable environment, has moderation, and allows for more than just a general thread. >>66 >1. What's the bump limit (autosage post count)? 600 posts for now, which is the global maximum. >2. Is there a limit at which threads lock? No. At the moment I don't see that as necessary. >3. When would you prefer we make a new thread, especially for the general? For the general threads it's probably best to wait for the post limit of 600 to be reached. >I assume the way threads should be is something like a ship can have a thread, a character can have a thread, etc. This wil hopefully be the trend, however, I'm taking a bit of a hands off approach. Ships, just as an example, might be best to get their own thread, but nobody will get the banhammer just for discussing it in the general. You can use the general threads as you've been using them on /trash/ in other words, like a little mini /b/ related to rwby.
>>85 rwbyg.cock.li is an email, correct?
>>95 Yes! You can contact me there for questions and mod applications.
>>95 Don't forget the @ though, it's rwbyg@cock.li

>>85 Thanks for the reply. Makes sense then. Although I think /gacha/ actually has 1000 post thread limits, which may be a special exception since they are, well, gacha generals.
>>102 There might actually be autistic exceptions to the rule, but for now I think 600 posts is more than enough for a single thread. I will look into making a general RWBY thread that is cyclical though, might make managing threads more easy for people keeping track.
>>105 Honestly cyclical threads are pretty annoying in my experience since it relies on someone regularly archiving the thread every day to make sure that good posts don't vanish into the aether 600 Post limit is perfect though. Definitely better than /trash/'s limit
