wfh is the most autism friendly job you can have im doing right now
>>2438 The problem when you have autism is not working but getting the job at all. There are so many jobs I could do but companies simply refuse to hire people with autism.
>>2446 cant you just say you dont have autism? some jobs dont even require an interview
>>2447 If you actually have autism it will be noticeable so lying is pointless. All jobs here require an interview, unless you are lucky enough to be able to get a job through contacts.
>>2446 To make things worse, there's very few job openings a year for actual fun stuff like the things you've studied in college. Most jobs these days are turbo normie crap like fast food, construction and delivery. Finding a nice comfy job where you're in your office, in an old commie-era building is an impossible feat. >>2447 HR ladies usually have psychology degrees, they know. It's rare to have an interview without HR ladies present.
I got into boat stuff. Maintenance is simple and repetitive, attention to detail is mandatory and appreciated. Everyone is a little rough so being a weird is forgiven as long as you're good at your job. There is one right way to do things, and command structure is very clear. 10/10 gonna keep doing it.
How are data entry jobs? I know someone who has a job like that and it sounds miserable and repetitive but you can stay in your room all day.

>>2586 I wish I could get a data entry job, but all I can find is fake scam listings.
>>2451 That isn't true, there is something known as masking. A lot of people would never have any idea, because there idea of austim is based on limited information, and stereotypes.
>>2630 Yeah makes sense, it seems like you have to get really lucky to find one and you're going to have to hold it down when you do.
