This isn't true at all. I'm American, I went to school with a lot of Greek and and a few Turkish kids, or more accurately, kids whose parents and grandparents immigrated from those countries. They do not look like Latinos or Latina girls. Again it's hard to explain but you could instantly tell the Med or Arab kids from the Mexican or South American kids. You're getting caught up in the brown or tan skin and dark hair or eyes, they don't actually look all that similar. I'm on the east coast so you even start to be able to tell the difference between Cubans, Dominicans, and Puerto Ricans. Once you get a little bit of "practice" it'll start to make sense. Last week a group of cute young college girls came in to my shop, they were dressed like typical 20 something American girls, speaking English, American accents, light skin, but I could instantly tell they were Mexican, there was no mistaking them for Mediterraneans or Arabs. It's the little things about the face.
