I don't think we're going to see the actors strike come to an end, guys.
The reason I say this has to do with a job I just turned down as a delivery driver. What's going in is that the company does deliveries for Amazon, no problem with that itself, however, as part a part of working with Amazon despite being hired under another company, I have to sign a credentials and NDA form for Amazon. On said document, there is an entire section dedicated to "publicity". And what that section entails is that Amazon is granted access, forever, to my name, likeness, voice, biometrics, etc. for usage in anything, ranging from promotional material to advertisements and programs. IOW, by signing that document, Amazon is allowed the unlimited access to effectively use you for anything it wants. And given that Amazon is now an entertainment company, that also means that they can use employees to create any original media.
If anything, I think we're going to see even more digital actors, outside of LucasFilm, as the years go by.
