Actually, it isn't, that just the narrative they want you to believe. How I know this is that, after shutting myself off from all the news of Lucasfilm and
Star Wars for a several months because I was sick of it all, I begrudgingly returned to the series through
Lego Star Wars: The Complete Saga (Yeah, the game from 15 years ago) about a several weeks ago. And, I realized something astounding,
I was having fun and enjoying it. So, I then proceeded to marathon all six of the films, and just had fun with each and every one of them. Now, I'm going through Gendy's
Clone Wars show and I'm just mesmerized by it all.
What they're trying to do is
NOT retroactively taint the original, it's to taint the very name so that you have no reason to go back to it because you're so sick of what it "became". It's the "salt Earth" strategy, except the retards don't understand that even that tactic is extremely limited (In that some plants are salt-tolerant
OR the salt can easily be washed away).
