It's not just flooded out either he actively expunged his involvement in early blogging development. You can "see" mention of him on arc.org but all the articles do that "It's still live! Go here instead!" redirect that just goes to an empty page. These were all done way before GG because I remember running into that the
first time it came up. Likely pulled strings to sever his ties to gawker during an early tech bubble hissyfight.
