Unironically most games with pvp I played powercreep much slower than this game. They have balance patches, their characters have a portion of their power budget allocated for defense and crowd control. HP inflation can always be overcame by leveling.

I tried star rail after seeing all the hate that it got online because I dont trust these drama farming trannies to have an objective opinion on anything really, and honestly, this could be one of the worst big gacha games ever. Combat is too simple, story is trash, and the characters are extremely expendable both in the story and the meta. There are no bond levels, no hangouts (and I dont even mean dating btw), they had good events while they still cared to attract new players and then they kinda gave up. I reached Penacony and uninstalled.

HSR is often bashed for being overly simple, but I think the fact 0-cycle autism exists shows you can do a lot with this simple 2-button framework if you want. It could just be because of the magnitude of the community, but you don't see anyone labbing out hyperoptimised clears in, say, Outerplane, which is very overtly intended to be autoplayed
