I just wanted to understand what was the reason and its a collection of factors but it boils down to disappointment. I truely loved the game at launch but I honestly found myself wondering at what point did I stop caring and it finally made sense when I was hyped for the 2.5 half anni that branches off into another sidestory and will inevitably play some extremely minor role towards explaining the main campaign.

Sixo's still scheming and still has Liveryn within their grasp, with the objective to obtain Hammering's head. Contact with Eden has been lost. From the plot we found out that Behemoth visited them recently. Might've been due to that. Meanwhile, Doro will sponsor Anis and likely involve herself somehow, demanding some kind of recompense in turn. There's the whole Neon & DEEP connection and the two giant cores destabilizing too. Liliweiss and Marian as queens. And a bunch of other things that are happening at the same time. Maybe it's like what that other anon said and you've been hyperfocusing on Nikke to the extent that it burned you out? I'm still very hyped for where the plot's going. Now more than ever in fact.
