Why even bother talking to you retard
But fine, I'll bite, I don't think it's just cuteness aggression or sadism, I'm sure those are two big factors but I think there's more going on and that's what fascinates me
Like in the case of the smurf guy I defo think he's just into the whole 'cute pity' thing, there's an interest some people have into wanting something cute to be harmed but not because they want it to be hurt, but so they can feel a greater pity towards it and see it be taken care of afterwards even more, there's something about a cute little thing being in a terrible situation that activates their almonds for coddling it even harder
Some of them even get off on how righteous and caring they themselves feel for doing it
Unfortunately if you can't keep it in the realm of fiction, this is the same mindset that leads to nurses and caretakers and the likes to abuse their patients, they want to pity something miserable and need attention and be told how good and empathic they are so they intentionally hurt the patient first and then get all the asspats and validation for taking care of them afterwards
