I have seen several posts in various threads with people praising 8chan and its features: >I can upload more than one image at once, with higher file sizes! >I can upload webms and mp4s with sound! >I can post without having to fear a janny/mod will delete my posts and ban me, freeeeedom! This version of 8chan sat here like a bump on a log for 6 FUCKING YEARS, and it took 4chan getting hacked and going completely offline for people to finally wake up and realize what they were missing. Absolutely shamefur dispray. On another note, it took only five days for this 29 page board (with a 1000 post bump limit per thread) to be filled with new threads from 4chan refugees, pushing most of the old threads (some of which were up to six months old, because this board was dead) off the catalog.

I'm really enjoying it here and fully intend to never go back. As for the increased traffic, I do see the potential damage being done. As new boards are being created it'll likely ease up once everyone figures out where to go. Maybe need a redirect sticky to help herd the masses (some are doing this in the board page on b but assume most skip it). I established and am working on a board for rekt/gore type stuff so hoping to eventually redirect some of that b madness onto there

I used to visit here every now and again, but could never really get into using it because it was so dead You couldn't bring worthwhile people/threads over either because nobody on halfchan liked discord enough to send them 8chan there and they banned the word on the entire website I'll take what victories we can get tbqhdesu

It's hard for people to break posting habits. No one likes visiting a dead image board. >they banned the word on the entire website You can bet that filter will still be in place when they come back online. People usually said atemoe, 8moe, 8ch to get around it.
