most of the /pol/tards seem to be split on 8kun (~1000) and here Most of the hobby boards seem to be dead on both I've found 3 people on 7chan /fit/ and 2 on 13chan /b/ ~2000 of them are on soychan If the leak is to be believed, more than half of the 200,000 monthly users were bots. I don't remember this sites stats pre-4cucking to say for sure how many made it here, so it looks like we've only got ~10% of the real users on any given altchan. Probably for the best. All the retards too stupid to find their way here are probably stuck on soychan.

A while back, I wrote a guide for lolicons on how to find loli-friendly websites. I used to post it on /b/ loli threads, but I guess I didn't do it often enough. It contains a link to 8chan in an "altchans" section. Maybe I should post it much more often when 4chan comes back up. I've had to change the URL due to Rentry taking my ass down, but I'd like to make sure that when there's another site takedown, we all manage to make it to the right places. Everyone insists that the difference in activity is because the bots didn't come here. 4chan was receiving close to 30k posts per hour and this site receives something like 4k. There were certainly bots, but there's no way in hell that bots made up more than 80% of all posts.

I, for one, am happy that we got a imageboard nuke and reset. 4chan operating as it was was living on borrowed time. Every board was infested with bots, feds and schizoposters of the Reddit variety. I think we're all better off being on a smaller website with fewer dedicated posters. The bar for quality isn't even that high. I just want to have fun with my friends online. Posting on regular forms doesn't do it for me. I don't want my posting history to follow me across boards. I just want to shitpost and share memes. The sharty doesn't do it for me.. too spammy and zoomerish. I'm happy to settle here - probably even if 4chan does come back.

Either way, we're still around.

I think we're discovering that 4chan was legit 80-90% bots. Of ~200k people, if 180k are bots, and of the 20k left half of them only used the site for porn, we're accounting for more than half of real users of 4chan on altchans atm.

sometimes I feel like 4chan should add sitewide IDs for every thread. You are still ultimately anonymous, but it makes it so much easier to filter schizos and spammers, filter samefags, etc. I have a feeling that a good 20-30% of 4chan replies on some boards were samefags.
