We don't know what happened. Did the manga get canceled because of fading popularity or because the execs thought it went on for too long? Did the author get tired of it? Obviously the author got to finish the manga with a proper arc. It felt slow. They even chapter for practicing graduation.
It's annoying how this manga had such a relatively extreme premise, but then turned to playing it safe. Not only did an adult explicitly fall into love with a little kid, but she also turned her into a cosplay doll and took risque photos of her. the first chapter had Hana almost call the police. But then it turned into a slice of life. (Still with some light yuri bait. One time Mya-nee even suggested playing doctor, and the kids rejected it because they understood it in a sexual way.) Now the manga ended with Hana practically giving herself to Mya-nee, and Mya-.nee literally saying she'd wait until Hana is an adult.
Maybe the editor should have suggested the author to get inspired by some Itou Hachi works. Or maybe the editor encouraged to play it safe because it's getting harder for loli media.
But even so, the ending is rather mediocre. There were already many moments when Hana and Mya-nee got very closde. The bakery end hinted 5 years ago was my favorite candidate. The other characters got almost nothing.

I hope this too. There are no hints that there will be a small extra in the next (last) volume, but isn't that standard?
