Do you guys think that Koga and Ryuki will power up in the upcoming tournament arc(the same way Ohma did) Or do you think they will more or less be sidelined for KAT2 or something else. Hell Sandro might combine the worm competition and KAT2 together to try to increase the stakes. With all of the chapters that have been dedicated to Koga it would be a waste to simply toss him aside, hell he even has more training chapters that Ohma does in all of Kengan, so I'm not sure what Sandro's end goal is.

In the beginning of KAT he was much weaker that many of the stronger combatants, but he pretty much gets stronger on the spot to beat his next enemy. So im not sure why Sandro feels the need to stretch Koga and Ryuki's growth over the course of several years(in story and IRL). It almost makes them feel like the disciple characters in HSDK that were inferior to the masters for the entire duration of the series. If thats true for Koga and Ryuki to just be Ohmas students forever than that would be disappointing. Just imagine how awesome a Koga Ohma rematch could be if it were handled by a good writer?

>>16935 Honestly looking back on it now. The purgatory tournament was the beginning of the series decline in quality. It is responsible for turning the villain's into joke characters. Idemitsu and his fighters basically serve no purpose in the story now(the cool fighters killed themselves) and Edward and the West Wu were turned into Jobbers. Shen has taken the center of the stage as the villain but he is too passive to fill the shoes of villain. Unironically, Luohan is actually has the best villain potential currently. Despite how cringe he is he is the only character that has any ambitions at all, Which says alot considering how much I disliked the character when he was introduced. Sandro will probably turn him into a joke charachter too, its seems to obvious that the martialarts.zip is just Shen's scheme to puff up Luohans pride so he can humiliate him later. I do think Xia Ji returning could potentially be cool, especially if he were to come back stronger and beat up some of the stronger characters.
