I personally imagine Yatsuhashi as hyper genki hotblooded kinda tomboy girl. Not the cunning sly tomboy like Marisa, aloof or chill tomboy like Mokou or rude idiot like Cirno, but the energetic, like to be loud and excited and full of positivity kind of boyish. There's no one else like that, right? In fanworks I often see that trait in Sanae but to me she's still pretty much girly.

I don't think you're supposed to fuss over character's "ability" written on their profile so much. Sometimes it's just put there as formalities, but their powers doesn't always revolve around it. Like Yuuka's ability is said to be "manipulation of flowers" but sure as hell that's not what makes her the most feared youkai, or that the lack of evidence of Remilia's manipulation of fate may imply that it's actually weak or even nonexistent thus why she rather goes physical in combat. >>2147 I think her ability to create "heavenliness" (sky) is simply manipulating wind, weather and any fenomena above the clouds befitting her status as god of wind and rain, as opposed to Suwako's ability to create "earthiness" (as in everything related to earth/soil) and has shown to grow tress, create river and even spawn minerals and metal. Other than that, it's safe to guess that they possess typical god's power that can seemingly do anything convenient (transforming themselves and others, can appear anywhere, causes disaster/miracle, etc).

Is Miyoi popular yet? Manga characters like Kasen, Kosuzu and the fairies became popular eventually (especially Kasen) so her time will definitely come.
