I stole the board after it was abandoned because it makes me feel like I have control of something in my life. Anyway, general rules. 0. Obey the global rules. https://8chan.moe/.static/pages/globalRules.html 1. Don't act like a dramatic faggot or manufacture problems. A little bit of funny business is okay but if it's annoying it will probably just be deleted. 2. Have fun :) Otherwise go ahead and make a thread for your homo poseballing shenanigans, shopping fun, or laughing at normalfag avatars. I am not going to really outwardly shill this place for the time being because I don't have the energy, but if you find yourself here, your participation is welcome. If you have suggestions for banners, too, go ahead and post them in this thread. Banners must be 300x100 and under 1MB. I think they can be gifs too.

Thanks anon. Nice to see some posts. I might try to make this more active since I have free time now. I know there's the old 8chan group on SL that's kind of dead but I know a ton of people in the group are still active, including I believe the owner, so I may say hi. Also there's the current dregs of halfchan-affiliated groups but I am pretty sure many of them were always sour on 8chan.
>>20 No problem jannykun. The second life threads on halfchan are torn between the SFW blueboards where they whine about drama and the perpetually dead NSFW threads on /trash/. I think it would make more sense to combine the both of them into one.

Third Party Viewer Directory & Discussion - /tpvd&d/ Resident 07/27/2024 (Sat) 14:14:41 Id: e53e1e No. 22 [Reply]
What is a viewer? Viewers (or clients) are your means of accessing Second Life, similar to how a browser accesses the internet. Each viewer has its own unique features, advantages and disadvantages. This is a short list of third-party viewers available as alternatives to the default viewer offered on the Second Life website. Third-party viewers: Firestorm https://www.firestormviewer.org Easily one of the most popular third party viewers, Firestorm viewer is the premier choice for many who fancy themselves as power users for the multitude of tools, skins, and customization options it provides. Features: - Numerous skins and UI options - Legacy SL search + web-based search - Area object search Cool VL Viewer http://sldev.free.fr/ This viewer was created and is maintained by Henri Beauchamp and it puts emphasis on high UI coherency from one version to the other (meaning no bad surprise for "old timers") while staying in sync with Linden Lab's official viewer features, high performances, high stability and reliability, and a high reactivity to new patches and bug fixes provided by the Open Source community. While primarily designed for, and developed under Linux, the Cool VL Viewer is also available for Windows and macOS.

"Blufault" skin for Alchemy viewer secret.foxtail##3qRoc/ 07/14/2024 (Sun) 15:11:47 Id: c80dba No. 13 [Reply]
The skin used in Megapahit viewer is also available for Alchemy! Simply extract the .zip and then place the blufault folder inside of Alchemy’s /skins directory. Download it here: https://megapahit.net/~remmy/blufault-alchemy.zip

Made some tweaks to the world map floater, my environments floater, and notification well button. (Both Megapahit and Alchemy versions of the skin)
(New Tripcode because I used some meme password for the last one and forgot it lmao) Modified version of "Blufault" ham-fisted into Firestorm! Extract the .zip and then copy skins.xml as well as the firefault and default folders into your skins directory. Download it here: https://megapahit.net/~remmy/firefaultskin.zip NOTE: Selecting "Labels only" in the toolbar options appears to be broken, causing all buttons to vanish until toolbars are reset. RECOMMENDATIONS: >"Hybrid" layout >V7-style chat headers and console >V7-style context menu. Radial menu probably works but is untested.
Both skins now enjoy this somewhat cleaner resize handle!
