I've decided to terminate the database experiment. The stability of both sites seems correlated to the use of S3 buckets for remote file storage. The test site will be used to test a software upgrade for stability, and then I'll take it out back and shoot it send it to a lovely datacenter in the countryside.
The experiment on the production box will continue. I have restored the media, and you can all feel free to upload stickers, edit stream images, etc. The data is being stored outside the bucket for the time being.
At some point in the future, I will tinker with fixes for the S3 issue. I've got a couple solutions lined up, I just want to be sure the site is actually stable before trying to measure a performance difference.
Please continue to use 8chan.tv as normal. If you encounter stability issues, severe lag, or streams cutting out, please report it immediately. Thank you all for the help and support.
