I wonder, if enough heuretics are used in the form of "hardcoded" rules, so that all situations are covered, will this lead to an "organic" function? When we think of organic life, we think it's somehow "alive" and this makes it different from arbitrary rules. Or does it? Does evolution know its principles? Isn't it just a set of random rules, or "setting" which end up in our genetics, and those are what work? Meaning, all life itself is just hardcoded with set arbitrary constants.
So the strife for finding principles, algorithms, replicable procedures, is what is inorganic and artificial. The lean and pure mind's creations, are then contrary to life in its natural state!
