Thing is, when I've seen mechanical parts move in perfect sync with the need of a lens, as in, take a closer look
and I have, it was amazing for an /m/ like me they didn't have that effect at all. Here though, almost everything feels off when the second bot enters, even the background seems cg'd and I've seen that kind of camera and camera-work used too many times in movies that are especially heavy with cg and it throws me off. It's why I prefer using shitty cameras of yesteryear to film such things, I can detect fakeness in that far more easily.
